Here are some progress shots on the Chicken-Nitro project R8.

I'll be adjusting the Playstation logo on the side so that it fits....this means it will not be an exact replica, because for some reason Turn 10 forgot to program the side of the this car, along with the LMS version of the R8 and you can't apply graphics to the side carbon piece. You can on the 4.2 L version. There are others who have done this exact paint on the LMS version, and the smaller Playstation doesn't detract from the design.

Have some more logos to make for the sideskirt, and work on the hood vent....I blocked it out right now just to help with sticker placement.

Nitro, I changed the wheels to something that would look better painted black...weight was the same as the TSW wheel you had on there.

Car is S700 tune.

yeah, it is rediculous that you can on the 4.2L, but not on the 5.2L or LMS version of the R8. Good 'ol Turn 10.

The bottom section of the side skirts on this car are strange as well...there is material there, but for some reason the decals get cut off and extremely distorted. There is a fine line section there where the decals mantain the right shape.

nice one sir! the car looks awesome! the tracks it was built for are road america, motegi and sebring but it does well everywhere. times are: 1.48.881 motegi #19 1.56.884 sebring #35 and 1.59.127 at road america... i dont no what place that would be at road america as i have ran the 03 viper to #17... ill run some more time later so that we have more for the release.

Run some more times and post them here....I can run some as well, or Hyabusa. Looks like the Subaru pack is close to being released...and there is that Ohlins B-class Skyline that I painted for V4Vendetta...but need to hear back from him before that one gets unleashed. The poster is ready for that one.

Maybe release this one end of this week, or next? Maybe chelsea can start to work on the poster for this one after he finished the suby pack poster.

oh, that is f-in frustrating...ran a 6:00.xxx time on Rally Positano....went to click "quit race" and accidentily hit "rewind" (which is right above quit race)....and it rewinded me back past the start/finish line......argggggg

im still running time and im not lanning to release the car till next wekk because i want to buil up some hype about it

I love the feel of the tune and it is easy to drive...I gave a copy to Hyabusa to drive some lap times as well......he and I tend to have similar lap times, and we could be considered more of the "average" type driver who may pick up the car.
